AMP Energy and EPS Energy gain approval for South Australian Solar Projects
30 May 2023
AMP Energy with assistance from EPS is pleased to have obtained consent for variations to the approvals for both Bungama Solar and Robertstown Solar, further progressing the development of two large scale solar projects in South Australia.
The variation includes changes to the location and size of the project substation and BESS, adjustments to the solar arrays, as well as modifications to the timing of stages. These changes are expected to enhance the overall efficiency of the projects and improve their environmental performance.
EPS has worked closely with the local community and government authorities to deliver projects that will provide a significant economic boost to the local communities, through job creation during construction and ongoing operations, as well as the potential for additional investment in the region.
Overall, the consent for the variations represents an important step forward for the Robertstown and Bungama solar projects, as they move towards becoming key contributors to Australia’s clean energy future.
