Australian Clean Energy Summit 2018

20 August 2018

Last month EPS Principals attended the 2018 Australian Clean Energy Summit.

The event was hosted by the Clean Energy Council at the International Convention Centre, Sydney on 31 July – 01 August 2018.

The global energy context continues to change at a rapid rate. EPS recognises the necessity to be up to date on the latest policy, finance, business and technology developments impacting the renewable energy sector.

The summit gathered more than 500 delegates from four continents and nearly 200 different organisations. Attendees included developers, industry consultants, government officials, power generators and distributors, investors and more.

Over 70 speakers from some of Australia’s leading renewable energy companies, government decision-makers, business leaders and financiers presented at the event including various MPs, AEMO, ARENA, Tesla, Origin, AGL and more.

The Summit concluded with the NAB Gala Dinner and an interview with Minister for the Environment and Energy, The Hon. Josh Frydenberg MP on the Australian Government’s proposed ‘National Energy Guarantee’.
