Legal Tech Summit Australia 2017

14 February 2018

In November 2017, EPS employee, Kate Tierney attended the Legal Tech Summit held at the Westin in Sydney.

The summit covered a wide range of topics including everything from navigating the current cyber security landscape and surviving data breaches, to learning how to gain firm-wide support for innovation and driving change.

The Legal Tech Summit brought together leaders from a wide range of firms and in-house teams to access the latest insight and best practices from the leading authorities on legal technology. A varied program of case studies, panel discussions and round tables focused on how agile, productivity-focused systems can empower the legal profession in a changing world of work.

The overall message of the legal tech experts was clear; the technology is here and now and it is not intended to replace human lawyers, but rather to help lawyers do their jobs better and more efficiently, allowing them to focus on the crucial human aspect in any legal matter.
