Merry Christmas from EPS
14 December 2017
The team at EPS would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday.
Our office will be closed from Thursday 21st December and will re-open on Monday 8th January 2018.
EPS has enjoyed a great year with many exciting project and business milestones. Highlights include welcoming new staff members to our team, progressing a number of large scale solar projects, raising over $2000 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, re-branding and celebrating one of our staff members graduating with a Diploma, and another graduating with a PhD!
Many challenging and exciting changes have occurred this year within the spaces we operate, including biodiversity legislation reform, updates to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, and ‘Comprehensive Plan to Address Housing Affordability’ announced by the Federal Government as part of the 2017-18 Federal Budget. EPS is pleased to have helped clients navigate the changing landscape by providing proactive and pragmatic advice.
We have enjoyed working on projects that benefit the local communities in which we live and work, such as the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre Carpark Reconfiguration and the NBN Wireless Tower roll-out, as well as projects of State and Federal significance, such as Glen Innes Wind Farm, Glenfield Waste Services Recycling Facility, and Darlington Point Solar Farm.
In lieu of a client gift this year, EPS will continue to sponsor four children through World Vision. Suhana (Nepal), Channy (Cambodia), Liliane (Rwanda) and Moreblessing (Zimbabwe) were selected by EPS staff members in 2015. Through sharing letters and pictures EPS staff have developed relationships with the sponsor children and learnt about their cultures and communities. EPS is proud to contribute to improving the communities in which the sponsor children live, on behalf of our valued clients.
