Data recently released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) positions the renewable energy sector as an area of significant job creation growth. The ABS reported that employment in renewable related activities increased 22% over the last 5 years. Employment opportunities connected to the renewable sector are at the highest they have been since their peak in 2011 – 2012 which coincided with government solar rebate incentives at the time. Statistics from the ABS suggests that New South Wales is leading the country in renewable job generation with 28% of total full time (or equivalent) jobs being within the state alone.

EPS has been involved with several recent renewable energy projects across Australia, including Riverina Solar a 30MW solar farm near Griffith which gained development approval in June of this year.
