Mount Penang Parklands Approvals

On behalf of Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation, EPS prepared the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) to facilitate the ongoing redevelopment of the 152ha Mt Penang Parklands site on the NSW Central Coast.

The works subject to the assessment comprised road upgrades, new roads, installation of water, sewer and telecommunications services. EPS coordinated specialist input into a constraints package to inform the design and enable avoidance of key environmental values on site. This streamlined the approvals process to avoid additional approvals being required in the future (i.e. Commonwealth EPBC referrals).
